first of all, i belive that such thing should be done only for releases 
which happends much rarely, secondly the changelog should be written by 
hands.
the changelog is supposed to be a couple lines 3-5 and there is no need 
to show in the lobby itself, we need a more intuitive download page 
instead ie more in line with other problems

a) detect OS with infos that the browser sends
b) have huge download button in front page with recommended setup link
c) have tiny link below to manually select what OS/distro to bring setup for

under the download, it should prompt a quick brief from latest RELEASE 
(ie nothing for the moment) with the most notable changes or stuff that 
could be slightly unintuitive at beginning

af for the wxhtml, what the hell? that makes it no more useful than a 
rich text control with an html parser
